Pegasus is a workflow management system used in a wide range of scientific systems. Pegasus can use a variety of grid and cloud systems such as IRODS, SSH, Condor, and Globus to coordinate compute jobs. In some cases a single-user workflow needs to access a number of resources, with different security models. This presents both usability and cybersecurity challenges in managing and delegating a number of different credentials. Trusted CI and the Pegasus team are collaborating to enumerate and clearly define these challenges, identify existing best practices and applicable research, and develop new methodologies to address these challenges.
